🧾 ERPNext Wiki App — Complete Documentation Guide

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to set up, structure, and publish your organizational documentation using the ERPNext Wiki App.

📘 Step 1: Create a Wiki Page

📍 Navigation:
Go to the Awesome Bar and search for "Wiki Page" → Click New.

📝 Fill in the Following Fields:

🔹 Title:
Enter the name of your wiki page (e.g., Facility Ticketing System).

🔹 Route:
This is the URL path of your page. It is auto-generated, but you can customize it (e.g., /facility-ticketing).

✅ Enable These Checkboxes:

**Published**

    ✔️ Makes the page live and visible.

**Allow Guest**

    🌐 Allows access without login — ideal for public documentation.

✍️ Content Section:

Add rich content using the editor:

Text

Images

Tables

Bullet or numbered lists

💡 Tip: You can paste structured content like your SOPs or process descriptions directly here. 🔖 Meta Tags (For SEO):

Add a brief page description to help search engines understand your content.

🔍 Keywords (For Internal Search):

Use relevant terms to improve searchability inside your Wiki.
Example: ticket, facility, Ashram Maintenance, support, etc.

📁 Step 2: Create a Wiki Space

📍 Navigation:
Go to the Awesome Bar, search for "Wiki Space" → Click New.

📝 Fill in the Following Fields:

🔹 Space Name:
Provide a meaningful name (e.g., Facility Management).

🔹 Route:
Define the URL path (e.g., /facility).

➕ Add Wiki Pages to the Wiki Space:

Under the Wiki Pages section, select pages you created earlier.

You can create hierarchical structures (parent-child relationships) to organize content better.

⚙️ Step 3: Configure Wiki Settings

📍 Navigation:
Go to Wiki → Wiki Settings to set global preferences.

🎛️ Fields to Configure:

🌞 Light Mode Logo

    Upload a logo for the light theme.

🌙 Dark Mode Logo

    Upload a logo for the dark theme.

📌 Default Wiki Space

    Select the default space that opens when someone accesses your Wiki App (e.g., Facility Management).

📲 App Switcher List

    Add your Wiki Space to the ERPNext app menu for quick access.
