Mandatory fields for Budget are

1. Company
2. Location
3. Fiscal year
4. Cost Center

Pool Concept When we create Budget head, we need to decide whetehr it is under pool budget or individual Budget Head. All pool Budget Head share budget across each other. Example of non-pool Budget Head is Slaary, Fixed Asset etc.

Actual Budget goes in Budget Head in child table for each unique Budget. Any future update should come via Budget Amendment form.

Note : When a budget amendment is made, the original budget must be updated for the changes to be reflected. After making a budget amendment, the Finance user should return to the original budget form and click the Update button to ensure the amended budget is reflected in Purchase Invoices (PI).

VCM Budget Amendment

VCM Budget Amendment can be used to amend any Predefined budget with approval.
