Roles and Permissions
The VCM ERP system uses role-based access control, assigning specific roles and permissions to users. Below are the different roles and their permissions.
1. Ride User
Permissions:
- Create and submit ride orders.
- View ride bookings.
- Rate the driver after ride completion.
2. Ride Order Approver
Permissions:
- View ride orders.
- Approve or reject ride orders.
3. Driver
Permissions:
- View ride bookings.
- Fill odometer readings at the start and end of the ride.
- Change ride status to "Completed."
- Rate the ride user.
4. Vehicle Agent
Permissions:
- Create and submit ride orders.
- Assign vehicles and drivers to ride orders.
- Manage vehicle details and documents (e.g., Pollution, Insurance).
- Create and configure Ride ALM (Approval Level Management).
- Manage vehicle booking masters.
Mobile App Access for All Roles
- Ride User and Driver roles can view the Vehicle Booking Icon in the mobile app.So Vehicle Agent will also have Ride User Role as he might book ride on behalf of other user.
- Ride Order Approvers can approve or reject ride orders from the Approvals icon in the mobile app.
Summary of Permissions
